August – October… LOTS of health news!

Hello my preciousesssss! So the last time I sent out any health news was August 16, 2019. I did not post it on the Internet, but sent it out via email. At that moment it was all that I had energy for. So my apologies if some of you did not see it. I will be posting the August newsletter in a separate blog so you can see it there. To keep it brief and simple, I will share in bullet points what has transpired since early August. Mid late August 2019 Aug 16-17. Did my first liver / gallbladder flush. It’s designed to help remove toxins from that part of the body’s filtration system.  Was difficult, but felt really excellent afterwards. I was quite […]

The Winning Stretch?!
2 Fundraisers in March 2019

Happy February 2019, month of love! So, am I behind on health news? Yes, a bit.  Do I shy away from social media? Yes, as I’m a social media chicken. But am I here now at last? Yes! To keep it short and sweet for the moment, here are some quick, happy, important messages about my health journey: My cancer numbers have gone down again! I found out Wed Feb 20 2019 that my circulating cancer stem cells and tumor cells have dropped again, from 3.4 to 3.0. Is this good? YES! In June 2018 I was at 3.4 and in December 2017 was at 4.0. To give you context: the closer I get to 2.0 or lower, the more likely I am to achieve […]

Happy Early Autumn 2018!

Happy Early Autumn 2018!  (this was written in Sept-Oct 2018) I am happy to report that I have a host of good news items to share with you all!! My integrative cancer doc is streamlining my cancer meds.  Due to financial exigencies, my cancer doctor in California is in the process of pairing down and streamlining the kinds and amounts of cancer meds that I’m taking. This will help me keep going on my program without breaking the bank. I am so excited to hear her suggestions. I’ll share them with you once she shares them with me, probably next newsletter blog.  Diagnostic mammogram in July showed no sign of new growth cancer! Because of this my breast surgeon suggested it was not too […]

Happy July heat wave, everyone- yikes!

Whew, its hot in Chicago lately. Days of heavy, humid, and hot air. The big news: MY REMAINING CANCER CELLS CONTINUE TO DROP!! That’s right, I may not be in remission YET, but I keep inching towards it, month by month. How do we know this? There’s a test called the Oncocount created by a lab in Europe called RGCC. People whose score is in the teens on the Oncocount have metastatic cancer (stage 3,4) according to my cancer healing team. People whose scores are at two, one, or zero, are considered in remission if not downright cured. My score was a 3.4 on June 1st 2018, down from a 4.0 in November 2017. This is great- its going down, not up! What’s on deck? […]

Happy Pride 2018: Bev’s Trip to Cancer Center for Healing, Irvine CA

Happy Pride month everyone- friends and allies! June has been an eventful month. Beside 3 medical appointments on my California medical trip, I had fun resuming some social media fundraising efforts with my brother and sister in law. 1st. On June 1 I was at the Cancer Center For Healing in Irvine California. I received a cancer treatment known as the SOT. SOT stands for Supportive Oligonucleotide Technique. It’s a type of blood treatment that uses the messenger RNA from your own blood that, once its been re-injected, works anywhere from 3 to 6 months at finding and killing only the cancer stem cells and circulating tumor cells which may still be floating around throughout my body. This test has been used in Europe for […]

February 2018: Thank you for all the fundraising efforts

Hello good readers! Happy Month of Love! In case you hadn’t heard, the January fundraiser went over very well!  My friends Mary, Jan, and Tehilla raised 3000$ for me and I can continue my treatments! My lovely friend and web wizard, Mary Brown, created the video above as a way to share the event with those who couldn’t be there in person, and of course to say THANKS AGAIN to all who made it possible. It was a relaxing, cheerful, and healing evening in more ways than one. Quick health news summary: All is rolling along very well with my current regimen: doing 4 months of nontoxic chemos, and continuing all the immune boosting strategies I began in the autumn. And I’m learning more all the time. Late […]
