Good News and Challenging News, Aug 2019
August 16, 2019Hello my preciousesssss!
So the last time I sent out any health news was August 16, 2019. I did not post it on the Internet, but sent it out via email. At that moment it was all that I had energy for. So my apologies if some of you did not see it. I will be posting the August newsletter in a separate blog so you can see it there.
To keep it brief and simple, I will share in bullet points what has transpired since early August.
Mid late August 2019
Aug 16-17. Did my first liver / gallbladder flush. It’s designed to help remove toxins from that part of the body’s filtration system. Was difficult, but felt really excellent afterwards. I was quite surprised.
Aug 19. The CT scan showed no metastases in the soft tissues! Yippee. Bloodwork only showed a few markers (thyroid) outside of the normal range, none of which had to do with cancer!
September 2019
Sept 7. Saw a traditional healer from the native American culture, he always gives wonderful medicines. My body really likes them, I can tell.
Sept 11. Saw a hypnotist to help me with cravings for sweets. Cancer loves sugar and so I feel quite nervousIf I crave sweets. She help me quite a bit.
Sept 14-15. Did another cleanse designed to help the gallbladder and liver flush out excess cholesterol. Really works. I often feel very lightweight and energetic, even happier after such a flush. Remarkable.
Sept 16. Researched several types of new minimally invasive treatments for the tumors. Tried calling 4 doctors across the country who do cryo-ablation, but they aren’t not quite ready to treat my type of cancer yet. Bummed out. It has been successful with other types of breast cancer. Ah well. Next researched sono electric pulse therapy for tumors. called by many names: sono dynamic, HIFU high intensity focused ultrasound, cell sonic, etc. it causes the immune system to go after any non-normal cells and often causes tumor cell conversion, apoptosis, or disintegration, especially for smaller sized tumors and those closer to the surface of the skin. This describes mine!
Sept 17. Had an appointment with my integrative oncologist who recommended sono electric pulse therapy besides everything I’ve already been doing. She recommended a lot more, but this was the most cost effective treatment for me at the moment.
Sept 23. Appointment with cancer surgeon. We discussed partial mastectomy, mastectomy, double mastectomy and radiation. I left meeting needing some time to sit still and contemplate all the facts before making any decisions.
October 2019
October 4. Met with the radiological oncologist to talk about options. She was one of the kindest, affectionate and personable doctors I have ever met. It was not likely that I would take any of her suggestions, but I thought it wise to gather information. However I left not feeling any more confident about using radiation as a treatment for my tumor.
October 7. Met with a breast reconstruction plastic surgeon. Wow. It was overwhelming how taxing and complicated it is to try to re-create tissue using other parts of your body. I felt heavy and couldn’t imagine pursuing plastic surgery in the event of a mastectomy or double mastectomy. But maybe that’s just me, it seems like a lot of women do this to feel better and more womanly again. For now I am not contemplating this.
October 12. Took some new natural medicine designed to help my nervous system and my brain become more relaxed. And it worked very well! More details in subsequent newsletters.
October 24 through the 27th. Went to a healing fast and sweat lodge in Michigan, at the invitation of the traditional medicine practitioner at my cousins tribe. It was extraordinary, peaceful, comforting and And quite frankly difficult to come back into our more harsh, disconnected urban environment.
On deck: Tuesday, November 5, fly out to the Cancer Center For Healing in Irvine California to do the sono electric pulse treatment on my tumor on Wednesday the sixth, and fly back the same day! I’ll hopefully will have made and posted a video about it by then.
