First Ever Post: Early Thoughts on Treatments, September 2017
September 17, 2017Oct 24 2017: Mary Helps Bev Get Support for Her Cancer Fund
October 24, 2017Geez, is it Thursday, October 5th already?! Almost a month has passed.
Sorry I haven’t updated in a while. I’m still getting used to checking in on social media.
Well, I’ve got some good news: due to the massive nutritional overhaul I’ve been doing, an mri of my tumor 9/20/17 showed it has reduced in size a little bit! Isn’t that amazing!?
Even more exciting, I’m choosing to do integrative cancer treatment instead of the traditional poison-cut-burn route, aka, chemo-surgery-radiation. And I’m hoping to be able to afford to go to a cancer clinic in Irvine, California. (If not there, then Mexico is more affordable.)
My first appointment is Monday, October 9, over the phone. I will know then how much everything will cost and what my new treatment plan will be.
As a backup, I’m keeping the conventional medical team at University of Chicago, in case I need surgery. But I hope not to at all.
In fact I have so much confidence in the integrative approach that I feel more powerful and hopeful than ever. Ntm, eating so ultra-healthy has made me feel so much more light and “clean”.
The only trouble is the amount of time and work required to do all the protocols correctly or thoroughly (there’s alot to do everyday). I’m actually tired just from that, I think!
Staying relaxed is my next goal and I’m already on it. Meditating, enjoying animals and nature, singing, laughing. That’s the ticket.
May you all be feeling fantastic and peaceful! Love, Bev
